Julien Pathé, civil engineer at Société Coopérative 2401, will present a new modular system of prestressed slabs made of reused concrete or natural stone developed by a Swiss consortium - bringing together Itten+Brechbühl SA (IB), Société Coopérative 2401, VSL Suisse SA and Marti Construction SA - during our next webinar. The results, presented on June 18, 2025 in Lausanne, confirm the structural and environmental benefits of this approach: over 60% reduction in CO₂ emissions, without compromising on performance. The method is based on intelligent standardization (2.40 × 2.40 m modules), operation from 20 MPa strength and great flexibility in adapting to site schedules.
