The Chair of Circular Engineering for Architecture (CEA) conducts research into the adaptation of reused architectural materials and projects to the circular economy with the help of digitization. Construction projects are often complex and varied problems, handled by many parties working in separate silos. The construction sector can learn from other industries when it comes to adopting digital technologies and circular strategies. Automating the reuse of materials in architecture can bridge this gap by connecting players along the entire value chain.
