In Renens, a 250 m² showroom features a wide range of items for sale, including faucets, shower accessories, trays, bathtubs, washbasins, toilet bowls units, mirror cabinets, bathroom furniture, siphons, pipes and fittings.
The main activity consists of dismantling kitchens and bathrooms for private and corporate customers, as well as carrying out related work. Items in good condition pass through the workshop to be cleaned and recycled. Items requiring minor repairs are, wherever possible, restored at low cost. The workshop is equipped with a number of woodworking machines, enabling us to remanufacture certain worn or broken wooden parts or elements. A coat of paint or varnish can also be applied if required. Once the objects have been repaired, reassembled and/or repainted, they are displayed for sale directly in the Promaison store. Objects too damaged to be resold are dismantled by material and sent to the waste disposal center.
The Pro Travail foundation, founded in 2009, reintegrates people who have strayed from the job market by offering them a professional activity within a supervised structure. By 2021, the SDE-Pro-Travail program will have reintegrated 25% of supervised workers into the first job market. The two units, Promaison and Propublics, employed an average of 15 people under this scheme. Several architectural firms and JECOS (Jeunesse et cohésion sociale) in Yverdon-les-Bains called on their services for various jobs.
