At SBB, one principle prevails: when a product or installation is withdrawn from service, this does not mean the end of its lifespan. Throwing it away would be a waste, both ecologically and economically. The online platform resale@sbb embodies this responsibility by offering used railway infrastructure equipment for sale.
SBB Resale is an initiative of SBB's Infrastructure, Passenger, Cargo and Real Estate divisions. Together, we operate Europe's densest rail network, with the most punctual trains. We transport people and goods, and manage stations. SBB places high demands on its rail infrastructure. Standard products are not enough: we call on technically recognized specialist manufacturers, as well as our own innovative development and production.
